El Jardin del Paraiso

My favorite neighborhood garden is El Jardin del Paraiso, located between E 4th and 5th Streets, and Avenues C and D....and it's my fave because it's home to several friends:  chickens, pigeons, fish and rabbits!  There's also a tree house, vegetable garden, creek bed and quiet nooks to read a book or take a nap...truly an oasis in the middle of a busy city.
